Every Fleurdelis frame starts with genuine pecky cypress — the same weathered, cavity-marked wood that's been a Louisiana signature for generations. No two boards are alike, so no two frames are alike.
Each piece is cut, fitted, and finished by hand right here in Lake Charles. Standard sizes are listed below, and if what you need isn't on the list, we build it anyway.

Thermally modified cypress, treated with heat instead of chemicals. The process breaks down the natural sugars in the wood that rot and decay feed on, which also gives it its deep, rich color and makes it naturally more resistant to rot.
